Delete your ScoutrTCG account
In the app
- Open ScoutrTCG and sign in.
- Go to the Account tab.
- Tap Delete account, read what will happen, and confirm twice.
Your account is deleted immediately, and any other device you were signed in on loses access within an hour. You can't delete your account while a reservation is still in progress or a dispute is open: finish, cancel or let it expire first.
Without the app
Email privacy@scoutrtcg.com from the address you signed up with and ask us to delete your account. We'll confirm and do it within 30 days.
What is deleted
- Your login, email address, display name and date of birth
- Your shop name, address and location
- Listings that were never reserved; listings that were are removed from sale
- Your events, which are taken down
- Your collection, want list and saved searches
- Push notification tokens, your notification history, and feedback you sent
- Your blocks, and anyone else's block of you
- Any Pro subscription, which ends immediately
What is kept, and why
- Past reservations and ratings, with your name and email removed, so the other person keeps their history and the ratings they earned.
- Fraud-prevention records (card fingerprints, device tokens, price reveals, refused text attempts), attached only to that anonymous record, so deleting an account can't erase evidence of fraud. Kept for one year after the account is deleted, then deleted.
- Payment records held by Stripe, which Stripe keeps as required by law.
